Megan's Favorite Snickerdoodles

½ c. butter, softened
½ c. shortening (I just use more butter)
1 ½ c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 ¾ c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. white sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

Cream, butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla. Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, & salt. Mix together & then form into balls & roll into sugar & cinnamon. Bake @ 400 degrees for 8–10 minutes. Remove from baking sheet immediately.
